The Runpundit group at Agara Lake is not a club for fast runners. It is a coached community where every athlete trains with a plan matched to their ability. On any given morning at Gate 3, you will find runners who have never run 1 km, runners preparing for their first half marathon, and runners chasing sub-3:30 marathon times.

This is not a gym class with strangers. It is structured coaching at one of Bangalore's best running venues, with a coach who knows your pace, your history, and your goal.

Arrival at Gate 3

Athletes arrive at Agara Lake or HSR Playground. The group assembles near Gate 3, Agara Village. A familiar, energising atmosphere — experienced runners, beginners, everyone in between.

Dynamic Warm-Up

Leg swings, hip circles, high knees, butt kicks, dynamic lunges. Not skipped, not rushed. The warm-up is where injury prevention begins.

Structured Session

Intervals, tempo, easy aerobic run, or long run — Coach Vikas assigns each athlete their specific session based on their weekly plan and current fitness.

Cool-Down and Debrief

Easy walk, static stretching, post-run form feedback, and guidance for the next session. A lot of coaching happens in this window.

Optional but beloved. The chai stalls along the Agara Lake approach road are where the community actually forms. Not mandatory — but worth it.

The 350 m loop at HSR Playground, Sector 2, is the speed work venue. The short lap means Coach Vikas sees every rep on every interval. Rest periods are timed accurately. Form corrections happen in real time. If your goal is a faster 10K or a personal-best half marathon, part of your training happens here.
